Create a reward
Rewards are what viewers spend their points on. Keep the cost realistic for your watch time.
A cooldown of 0 lets anyone redeem this reward as often as they can afford it. A value of 5 lets each viewer redeem it once every 5 minutes.

Ways to Earn Channel Points
Every viewer on your channel earns points the same way. These are the live rates the API pays out — nothing here needs switching on, and you never spend anything to fund them.

Points are earned from authenticated viewing heartbeats while your channel is confirmed live, plus watch chests, followers, raids and streaks, with a daily ceiling on how much one viewer can earn in a day. The channel owner has no ceiling on their own channel. Redemptions keep the title and cost they were made at, so editing or deleting a reward never changes a redemption that has already been paid for. Reward and redemption writes use JSON files; back up the API data directory regularly.
