How live alerts work
The bell in the header checks your followed channels about once a minute. Personalised is the default, Always keeps every live alert, Go live only limits alerts to the start of a broadcast, and Off hides that channel from alerts without unfollowing.
Alerts are in-platform for now. Browser push notifications need an HTTPS origin and permission from this browser, and are not enabled yet.
