Broadcast from this tab with your camera, microphone or screen and nothing installed. The video goes to your own CP Elora media server, so your channel page, chat, Channel Points and viewer counts behave exactly as they do for an OBS stream.

Checking the media server…Portrait fills the tall frame with your camera, cropping the sides. A shared screen is fitted whole over a blurred copy instead, so nothing on it is cut off.
Quality caps what this tab sends, so the setting that decides whether viewers see a smooth picture is yours, not theirs. Drop a step if your upload connection struggles.
What this does and does not do
- The tab is the broadcast. Closing it, reloading it, or letting the machine sleep ends the stream. OBS keeps encoding from a separate process; a browser cannot.
- Your stream key is used, never displayed. The page signs in to your own media server with the key from Stream Manager, so resetting the key there stops a browser broadcast too. Treat the key as a password, as ever.
- Nobody else is in the path. Video travels from this browser straight to your media server; it is not relayed through another company's service.
- Portrait is composed in this tab. Choosing Format → Portrait sends one tall 9:16 picture, so phone viewers get a full frame instead of a wide stream with black bars. A camera fills the frame and is cropped at the sides; a shared screen is fitted whole over a blurred copy so nothing on it is lost. Pick the format before you allow the preview, and switch back to Landscape for the usual 16:9.
- Better quality usually means OBS. A browser can send a clean 720p or 1080p, but it cannot match an encoder's control over bitrate, scene layouts, multiple audio tracks or overlays. This is the fast, no-install route, not a replacement.
- One broadcaster at a time. While this tab is publishing, an encoder using the same key cannot take the path, and the other way round.
