Account & connections.
The account you sign in with, and the places CP Elora can meet you outside the site. Today that is Discord: link it once and the roles you earn here — your level, and going live — appear in the server on their own.

Discord
Linking proves which Discord member you are. It lets the CP Elora bot put the roles you earn on this site — your level, and the live role while your channel is up — onto that member, and take them back off when they no longer apply.

Discord is not set up on this server yet, so there is nothing to connect. Everything else on CP Elora works as usual.
You are not in the CP Elora Discord server yet, so there is no member to put roles on. Join the server, then press Sync roles.
How the roles are worked out
- Level roles. Your level comes from the XP you earn watching, cheering and Boosting anywhere on CP Elora. The highest role you qualify for is the one you wear; the one before it is taken back, so the list stays honest.
- Live role. Added when your channel goes live and removed when the stream ends. Channel state is checked by the CP Elora API itself, so the role follows the stream even if this page is closed.
- One Discord account per CP Elora account. Linking an account that another profile already used moves it to yours, and that profile loses its roles.
- Nothing leaks. CP Elora stores the Discord account id and the roles it gave you. It never sees your Discord password, and unlinking removes those roles again.
